Hello Central Elementary Families,
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! It is an honor to serve as the principal of Central Elementary, and I am excited to begin another year of learning, growth, and connection with our students, families, and staff.
At Central, we believe every child deserves to feel safe, supported, valued, and challenged. Our dedicated staff works hard to create engaging learning experiences that build strong academic skills while also helping students develop confidence, curiosity, kindness, and a sense of belonging. We are committed to meeting the individual needs of our students and helping each child recognize their strengths and reach their full potential.
Our school community is guided by four shared expectations:
These expectations shape how we learn, work, and care for one another each day. We want Central to be a place where students are excited to come to school, feel comfortable taking risks in their learning, and know that the adults around them believe in their success.
Strong partnerships between families and schools are essential. We value your knowledge of your child and encourage open, ongoing communication throughout the year. Whether you attend a school event, volunteer, communicate with your child’s teacher, or support learning at home, your involvement makes a meaningful difference.
I am grateful to be part of the Central Elementary community and look forward to all that we will accomplish together during the 2026–2027 school year. Thank you for trusting us with the opportunity to teach, support, and care for your children.
It is going to be a wonderful year to be a Central Panther!
Warmly,
Joel Francik
